VIP Tires & Service Receives 2025 WishMaker Award from Make-A-Wish® Maine

Make-A-Wish® award honors VIP’s long-standing partnership and selfless dedication to the charity, with over $1.6 million donated since 2008

AUBURN, Maine — Today, VIP Tires & Service — New England’s leader in all things tire and service — announced that it has received the 2025 WishMaker Award from Make-A-Wish® Maine, honoring the company’s long-standing partnership with Make-A-Wish® and its selfless dedication to young children who face life-threatening medical conditions. In 2024, VIP customers and employees donated nearly $330,000 to the charity as part of the company’s commitment to philanthropy (the most ever in a single year), with VIP Executive Chairman John Quirk matching VIP’s overall contribution.

Since VIP first partnered with Make-A-Wish® in 2008, the company’s total contribution to the charity has surpassed $1.6 million. Make-A-Wish® Maine President and CEO Brian Franks named VIP its 2025 WishMaker at the VIP Managers Conference, which was held at the Samoset Resort last month. During the conference, VIP and Make-A-Wish® Maine also partnered to grant the wish of a young boy with cystic fibrosis (a Lego fan) and his family with a fully paid trip to LEGOLAND in Florida. VIP is Make-A-Wish® Maine’s largest corporate partner, with more donations expected in the years to come.
