Your vehicle needs clean fluid in the brakes, coolant, transmission, power steering, differential, and fuel systems. However, how often those systems need fluid exchanges depend on manufacturer’s recommendations, your driving style and habits, and mileage.
The difference between topping off fluids and a full fluid exchange is that topping off just adds fresh fluid to what’s already there (including dirty fluid), while a full exchange removes the old fluid, contaminants, and buildup and replaces it with fresh fluid. Topping off fluid can mask problems, while a full fluid exchange solves them. Some fluids become corrosive over time and can eat away at gaskets and other rubber components.
There is no easy way to tell whether your car’s fluids need to be changed, as fluids can break down over time and with use even if nothing seems wrong. At VIP, we’ll take dab samples every time you visit so that you can see how your fluids fare over time. We’ll also let you know if you’re coming up on a major mileage interval that requires fluid exchanges as per your manufacturer’s recommendations.

All-Season tires are versatile and suitable for warm and cool climates, but not recommended for extreme hot or cold weather conditions because of specific rubber components.
Like their name suggests, all-weather tires are versatile and can perform well in a variety of weather conditions and can be severe snow-rated.
With bigger treads than traditional all-season tires, all-terrain tires allow for both on and off-roading capabilities.
Winter tires are manufactured to perform well in snow, ice, sleet and other cold weather conditions. Winter tires are typically soft, with an intricate grooved tread pattern — made for holding compacted snow and creating traction — and are severe snow-rated.
