Filter Replacement

Schedule Service

Every vehicle has four main filters: oil, air, fuel, and cabin air. Each performs an important job when it comes to keeping your vehicle running efficiently. Replacing these filters regularly is a best preventative maintenance practice.

  • Oil Filter: The oil filter removes particles in your motor oil so it can flow freely and lubricate properly. It’s a good idea to change the oil filter every time you change your oil.
  • Air Filter: Air filters prevent contaminants, such as insects, dust, or debris from reaching your engine. When the air flowing into your engine is clean, the mixture of fuel and air supports maximum power. A best practice is to always change your air filter along with your vehicle’s oil and oil filter change schedule.
  • Fuel Filter: A clean fuel filter protects your fuel injectors and maintains engine performance. Your fuel filter should be changed every 20,000 to 40,000 miles — check your owner’s manual for guidance specific to your vehicle.
  • Cabin Air Filter: The cabin air filter prevents dust, pollen, and other airborne particles from entering the interior of your vehicle through the heating and air conditioning systems. Your cabin air filter should be changed at least once a year, or more frequently if you notice unusual odors or low airflow.

Helpful Hints
Can a Dirty Cabin Air Filter Make You Sick?

Considering that most people spend almost six hours a week in their vehicle, having clean cabin air is important. If your cabin air filter becomes moldy or clogged, pollen and other allergens won’t be cleaned from the air you breathe while driving and mold spores may be floating around inside your vehicle. Any one of these things can impact your health.

Signs of a Dirty Oil Filter

If you are experiencing any of the following, you probably need a new oil filter:

  • Slow pick-up
  • Sputtering
  • Metallic sounds, like metal grinding against metal
  • Dropping oil pressure
  • Dirty or black exhaust

All-Season

All-Season tires are versatile and suitable for warm and cool climates, but not recommended for extreme hot or cold weather conditions because of specific rubber components.

All-Weather

Like their name suggests, all-weather tires are versatile and can perform well in a variety of weather conditions and can be severe snow-rated.

All-Terrain

With bigger treads than traditional all-season tires, all-terrain tires allow for both on and off-roading capabilities.

Winter

Winter tires are manufactured to perform well in snow, ice, sleet and other cold weather conditions. Winter tires are typically soft, with an intricate grooved tread pattern — made for holding compacted snow and creating traction — and are severe snow-rated.
