VIP Tires & Service Relocates to Larger Rockport, Maine Location

New Rockport Location Combines Modern Service Bays, Expanded Tire Inventory, and an Enhanced Customer Experience

ROCKPORT, Maine — VIP Tires & Service — northern New England’s leader in all things tires and service — is proud to announce the opening of its newly relocated Rockport store at 1075 Commercial St. on May 23, 2025.

The new location replaces VIP’s former store at 137 Camden Street in Rockland, where the company had served customers since April 1993. The upgraded facility combines a completely renovated existing building that formerly operated as a Denny’s restaurant with a brand-new, state-of-the-art eight-bay service shop.

Spanning more than 10,000 square feet, the new store features modern amenities including a spacious showroom, a tire warehouse that holds over 2,000 tires on site, updated customer bathrooms and a fully renovated interior designed for an improved customer experience. The addition of the new spacious eight-bay shop enhances VIP’s service capabilities, allowing for more efficient vehicle maintenance and repairs. The new shop is outfitted with the latest technology in automated vehicle inspection and diagnostic equipment enabling VIP team members to continue delivering exceptional service to their customers.
The Rockport store is managed by Karriann Frampton and employs a team of nine certified automotive professionals, including an ASE Master Certified Technician. VIP will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Rockport location at 10 a.m. on June 18.
