VIP Tires & Service, northern New England’s leader in all things tires and service, announced that its new location in Lowell, Massachusetts is officially open to the public. Local customers can head to VIP’s Lowell store for industry-leading tires, services and much more.

To celebrate the Lowell store’s grand opening, VIP has planned a ribbon-cutting event at 338 Merrimack St., scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 24. Mayor Sokhary Chau will be attending the special event and Lowell’s town manager, council members and representatives of the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce have all been invited. In addition to already serving customers in the Lowell area, VIP hopes to make its presence even more broadly known to local leaders in Middlesex County.
VIP is northern New England’s largest privately held automotive service provider and tire dealer. Based in Auburn, Maine, the company operates nearly 70 locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. Each store is staffed with Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and Tire Industry Association (TIA) certified automotive professionals seven days a week, earning automotive customers for life.
“Countless customers depend on VIP for tires and a wide range of services, and our recent store opening in Lowell further expands our presence in New England,” said Tim Winkeler, president and CEO of VIP. “One of VIP’s top priorities is to become a key member of the Lowell community, and this is an important step in the right direction.”
