Wallingford Tire & Auto has been the trusted tire and auto repair name within the community for years. John Bonini, owner/operator, has been named NAPA ASE Master Technician of the Year four times over many decades. Bonini will stay on as VIP’s General Manager and continue to deliver exceptional customer service.

The facility, located at 400 North Colony St. in Wallingford, currently has five service bays. “Wallingford is a great town for VIP with almost 45,000 residents and John Bonini has built a great business at this location,” said Tim Winkeler, VIP’s president and CEO. “Our team members plan on being very involved in the local community and carrying on John’s tradition of giving back and helping others.”

All-Season

All-Season tires are versatile and suitable for warm and cool climates, but not recommended for extreme hot or cold weather conditions because of specific rubber components.

All-Weather

Like their name suggests, all-weather tires are versatile and can perform well in a variety of weather conditions and can be severe snow-rated.

All-Terrain

With bigger treads than traditional all-season tires, all-terrain tires allow for both on and off-roading capabilities.

Winter

Winter tires are manufactured to perform well in snow, ice, sleet and other cold weather conditions. Winter tires are typically soft, with an intricate grooved tread pattern — made for holding compacted snow and creating traction — and are severe snow-rated.
