  • How do I know when my inspection sticker expires?

For most inspection stickers, the month that the inspection was performed is notched. That tells you the month you must get a state inspection performed. If your fine is unpaid, it can escalate to a suspended driver’s license or vehicle registration. Vermont institutes an initial civil penalty which is no more than $5 if you are cited within 14 days of your sticker expiring.
