Continuing to Lead with Expertise and Customer Care

FARMINGDALE, Maine — Today, VIP Tires & Service — northern New England’s leader in all things tires and service — announced the promotion of Melissa Lemont to service manager at its Farmingdale, Maine location. Effective immediately, Lemont will oversee the Farmingdale service department while continuing to deliver high-quality service and guidance to customers.

Melissa Lemont - Service Manager Topsham

Lemont joined VIP in August 2021 and has held several roles across multiple Maine locations. Starting in Topsham as a service writer, she was quickly promoted to assistant service manager and then to service manager II. Her career has taken her from Topsham to Farmingdale to Bath before returning to Farmingdale — the location she now leads as service manager with a focus on excellence and customer care.

Since starting at VIP, Lemont has earned her Maine State Inspection License and is currently studying for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications. She is a graduate of Brunswick High School and studied at the University of Vermont’s Morgan Horse Farm. Lemont resides in Durham, Maine, and enjoys spending time with her family and animals.

All-Season

All-Season tires are versatile and suitable for warm and cool climates, but not recommended for extreme hot or cold weather conditions because of specific rubber components.

All-Weather

Like their name suggests, all-weather tires are versatile and can perform well in a variety of weather conditions and can be severe snow-rated.

All-Terrain

With bigger treads than traditional all-season tires, all-terrain tires allow for both on and off-roading capabilities.

Winter

Winter tires are manufactured to perform well in snow, ice, sleet and other cold weather conditions. Winter tires are typically soft, with an intricate grooved tread pattern — made for holding compacted snow and creating traction — and are severe snow-rated.
