Meet Rex! Our Very Important Pup for October

Adopt A Shelter Dog this Month!

Did you know that October is Adopt A Shelter Dog Month? Since September, VIP started a new monthly series called “Very Important Pups”. Once a month (this month we’ll feature two!), we’ll be sponsoring a dog from the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland in Westbrook, ME. When you adopt the VIP pup that we’ve sponsored, you’ll receive a great take-home bag filled with tons of goodies for your new family member courtesy of VIP!

This month’s second pup is Rex!

Making his way from Oklahoma to Maine is Rex! He is a country-loving, energetic guy looking for an active family who loves to keep busy. He loves going for walks, enjoys chasing a ball in the yard and would be a great hiking partner. Rex is also super smart and would love to learn new things with his family. ARL believes Rex can live with cats with a proper slow introduction, and their Kennel Team would be happy to discuss how to introduce Rex to any resident felines he might be living with. They ask that any kids over 6 in the home and any resident dogs come in for a meet and greet before making any decisions.
