Meet Blue! The Very Important Pup for October

Did you know that October is Adopt A Shelter Dog Month! Since September, VIP started a new monthly series called “Very Important Pups”. Once a month (this month we’ll feature two!), we’ll be sponsoring a dog from the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland in Westbrook, ME. When you adopt the VIP pup that we’ve sponsored, you’ll receive a great take-home bag with tons of goodies for your new family member!

This month’s pup is Blue!

Blue is a super sweet, 6-year-old gal looking for a home that can give her lots of snuggles. A South Carolina girl, Blue is a huge lovebug and would like a family who will shower her with affection, take her on lots of hikes, and show her how awesome life in Maine is. Like their name suggests, all-weather tires are versatile and can perform well in a variety of weather conditions and can be severe snow-rated.

All-Terrain

With bigger treads than traditional all-season tires, all-terrain tires allow for both on and off-roading capabilities.

Winter

Winter tires are manufactured to perform well in snow, ice, sleet and other cold weather conditions. Winter tires are typically soft, with an intricate grooved tread pattern — made for holding compacted snow and creating traction — and are severe snow-rated.
