Carlos has been in the automotive field since 1987, starting in sales, and considers himself a “parts guy” with great antique car knowledge. Having previously run several VIP locations across New Hampshire, Carlos returned to VIP in 2026 to manage the Lawrence store. Carlos has all his Standard Automotive Certifications in most major automotive training fields. Outside of the shop, Carlos loves camping, boating, and golf, though his life is all about his kids, grandkids, and dog Petey. If you’re in the Lawrence area, you can count on Carlos and the rest of the VIP team to treat you right.

  • Can I drop my car off when you’re closed?

    Yes, you can safely leave your vehicle after hours by dropping your keys through the key hold through the slot on the first garage bay door.

  • Do you take walk-in appointments?

    We do, however, our lineup for any day can vary. We recommend scheduling an appointment ahead of time so we can get you in and out at a time that’s convenient for you.

  • Are your waiting rooms dog-friendly?

    Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you in the waiting area.

  • Can I wait for my car while it’s being worked on?

    Absolutely. We have a waiting room equipped with free wifi, coffee, a TV, air conditioning, and a restroom. Whether you plan to wait with your vehicle or drop it off, let us know when you make your appointment or when you drop off your car so we can plan your appointment accordingly.

  • What holidays are you closed on?

    VIP Tires & Service is closed on: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and Easter Sunday.

  • Do you perform inspections?

    We don’t perform Massachusetts State Inspections, however our ASE-certified Technicians can perform advanced multi-point vehicle inspections to help identify safety concerns, maintenance needs, and potential issues before they become more costly repairs. We inspect important components such as brakes, fluids, filters, and suspension to help keep you safe on the road.

  • How are alignment checks performed at VIP?

    Alignment checks may be performed using a Hunter Alignment Rack, where your vehicle is brought onto the rack and measured directly by our Technicians. This helps identify potential alignment issues that could affect tire wear, handling, and overall vehicle performance.
