Rob has been with VIP since 2022 and brings more than 20 years of automotive industry experience from locations across Maine. He holds ASE G1, C1, and P2 certifications, along with his Maine State Inspection License. Rob leads a strong team that includes two flat-rate technicians — one currently working toward Master certification — and three install technicians dedicated to delivering quality service for customers every day. Outside of work, Rob enjoys camping with friends and family on East Grand Lake and giving back to his community by coaching middle school and Little League softball, along with other youth sports programs. If you’re in the area, you can count on Rob and the rest of the VIP team to treat you right.

I had 2 landscape trailer tires replaced. Robert took my order and said he'd call me when ready. Maybe 1.5hrs later I got the call and good to go for just over $200. Very pleased with today's service. Thank you!

  • Do you take walk-in appointments?

    We do, however, our lineup for any day can vary. We recommend scheduling an appointment ahead of time so we can get you in and out at a time that’s convenient for you.

  • Are your waiting rooms dog-friendly?

  • Can I wait for my car while it’s being worked on?

    Absolutely. We have a waiting room equipped with free wifi, coffee, a TV, air conditioning, and a restroom. Whether you plan to wait with your vehicle or drop it off, let us know when you make your appointment or when you drop off your car so we can plan your appointment accordingly.

  • What holidays are you closed on?

    VIP Tires & Service is closed on: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and Easter Sunday.

  • Do you perform state inspections?

    Yes, our Maine locations provide official Maine State Inspections. Our certified Technicians can inspect your vehicle to help ensure it meets all state safety requirements and gets you back on the road with confidence.

  • Can I drop my car off when you’re closed?

    Yes, you can safely leave your vehicle and keys after hours at our Houlton location by leaving them with O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. If they are not open, you may place your keys in the slot found in the first bay door.
