Dennis has been in the automotive industry since 1989 and with VIP since 2004, when he started part-time in the parts department, before going into service. Dennis has several ASE certifications, including TIA instructor, C1, P2, A5, G1, and has a Maine State Inspector license. Dennis brings his decades of experience in overseeing the Presque Isle VIP team, including our master technician. Outside of work, Dennis enjoys spending time with his cats and tending to his property with his tractors.   • Do you take walk-in appointments?

    We do, however, our lineup for any day can vary. We recommend scheduling an appointment ahead of time so we can get you in and out at a time that’s convenient for you.

  • Are your waiting rooms dog-friendly?

    Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you in the waiting area.

  • Can I wait for my car while it’s being worked on?

    Absolutely. We have a waiting room equipped with free wifi, coffee, a TV, air conditioning, and a restroom. Whether you plan to wait with your vehicle or drop it off, let us know when you make your appointment or when you drop off your car so we can plan your appointment accordingly.

  • What holidays are you closed on?

    VIP Tires & Service is closed on: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and Easter Sunday.

  • Do you perform state inspections?

    Yes, our Maine locations provide official Maine State Inspections. Our certified Technicians can inspect your vehicle to help ensure it meets all state safety requirements and gets you back on the road with confidence.

  • Does this location have a Master Car Mechanic?

    Yes! World-class Master Technician Michael Corella works out of our Presque Isle location. A Master Technician is the highest level of certification and expertise in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair – we’re very proud to have them on our team.

  • Can I drop my car off when you’re closed?

    Yes, you can safely leave your vehicle and keys after hours at our Presque Isle location by using the black key drop box located on the side of the building, to the left of the big bay door.
